We went over the homework problems together which caused trouble. We then used this website to practice together using properties of equality to solve 1st degree equations with one unknown. We practiced solving by hand using Page 63 of the notebook. After some practice time, we visited this other website that also reinforced the properties of equality. We used it to introduce the variety of equations featured on Page 64 of the notebook. We ended class by working on Page 64.

We began class with some positive and negative number and fraction practice. Those who finished early checked their homework answers for p. 62 and corrected their mistakes. We went over the homework problems together which caused trouble. We then used this website to practice together using properties of equality to solve 1st degree equations with one unknown. We practiced solving by hand using Page 63 of the notebook. After some practice time, we visited this other website that also reinforced the properties of equality.
